This group covers medicines for breathing problems and for allergies of the nose and airways, such as asthma and allergic rhinitis. It follows the grouping used in the National Formulary of India, published by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission. It includes leukotriene receptor antagonists such as montelukast, and antihistamines such as levocetirizine that relieve allergy symptoms.
